Massage Room

Philosophy:

We strive to improve the quality of life through physical and mental rejuvenation as expressed in the poem by Cidalia Palva:

To touch and cherish the worth and dignity of each person
As a blessed and unique expression of life is to affirm the value of life.

To touch and accept each other in our different skins
Our wounded parts and our hoping hearts
Is to create safety and trust.

To touch and know the vulnerability of aching flesh
A despairing brow, a trickling tear
Is to create empathy and compassion.

To touch with gentle strength and knowing softness
Is to restore the healing power of touch.

To touch and express sincere praise, king thoughts,
Consider deeds and gestures
Is to create confidence and self-esteem.

To touch with integrity
Is to create truth, honesty and wholeness within
ourselves, our fellows and in our world.

To touch with our hands and heal with our hearts
Is to renew the miracle and majesty of serving with
Integrity and touch.

About Massage:

Many of today’s health issues arise from stress. Stress upsets the delicate balance of the body’s systems. Regaining the proper balance requires a holistic approach. Massage is a holistic, drug free discipline that works well in conjunction with health care received from your medical doctor, chiropractor or physiotherapist as well as many other forms of treatments.

Massage acts on the nervous system to counteract the body’s response to stress. It relaxes muscle tension and allows the heart rate, the blood pressure and circulation to return to normal. It is an integral healing relationship in which I assist you with restoring, maintaining and enhancing your well being.

The practice of Massage therapy is the assessment of soft tissue and the joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and the joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment. It is excellent for decreasing pain, inflammation and spasms as well as chronic pain. We offer these treatments to you while you relax in a peaceful environment.
